HubSpot UNBOUND 2026: What Fall Spotlight Brings to Marketing, Sales and CRM

11:54

A person fills in a form, comes back with a question in chat and then speaks to a consultant. Marketing sees the form. The support team knows about the question. The consultant knows what was agreed during the conversation. If that information does not come together in the CRM, each team is working with only part of the story.

At **UNBOUND 2026**, HubSpot introduced a series of updates as part of **Fall Spotlight**, designed to bring these perspectives closer together. At the centre is *Growth Context*: information about customers, the company and the way teams work, brought together to support actions across the platform. Breeze Assistant and AI agents use this context for campaigns, prospecting and support, while Smart CRM is designed to stay closer to actual customer interactions.

For any company using HubSpot, the useful question is which processes these features can improve, from attracting the right people to conversion, sales and retention. Here are the updates worth watching.

## Growth Context and Context Home: giving AI business context

An AI tool can generate an email quickly. For that email to be relevant, it needs to know what the company sells, who it is speaking to, how the offer is described and what has already happened in the relationship with that contact.

HubSpot calls this information base **Growth Context**. The new **Context Home** allows teams to manage elements such as their ideal customer profile (ICP), buyer personas, products and services, brand voice and process information in one place. HubSpot also uses data already available in the CRM, including activities and relationships between records. [Source: HubSpot, Context Home](https://www.hubspot.com/products/artificial-intelligence/context-home) and [AI context management guide](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/ai/manage-breeze-context).

Take the example of a company that sells services to both organisations and individuals. If the team defines its segments, their needs and the relevant products in HubSpot, an agent can use that context when preparing a campaign, a customer response or a summary for sales.

Context Home is documented by HubSpot as available across all plans. Access to the AI features that use this context may depend on portal settings, permissions and subscription level.

## Breeze Assistant: from answers to actionable tasks

HubSpot introduced an expanded version of **Breeze Assistant**. In addition to answering questions about CRM data and generating content, the assistant can coordinate specialised agents for specific tasks. A marketer can ask for a starting point for a campaign, while a sales representative can request a deal summary before a meeting. [Source: official HubSpot announcement](https://www.hubspot.com/company-news/fall-26-spotlight).

The potential advantage comes from its connection to company information. A campaign brief becomes more useful when it draws on segments, previous campaigns and shared rules across marketing, sales and service. To get there, however, the underlying information first needs to be checked and kept up to date.

**Breeze Assistant is documented as available across all HubSpot plans**, although certain actions require additional products, permissions or configuration. [Source: HubSpot Knowledge Base](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/ai/use-breeze-assistant).

## Marketing Studio and agents for campaigns, content and nurturing

**Marketing Studio** brings the campaign brief, planning and assets together in one workspace. **Campaign Agent** can suggest a campaign structure based on the objective and audience. The team can then adjust the messaging, channels and materials before launch. [Source: HubSpot, Marketing Studio](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/campaigns/create-campaigns-using-marketing-studio).

HubSpot also introduced **Content Agent**, which can prepare drafts for blogs, social media and landing pages, as well as **Nurture Agent**, which can adapt automated emails using recipient data. Generated content still needs to be reviewed, and personalisation only makes sense when the underlying data and communication permissions are correct. [Source: HubSpot Spotlight](https://www.hubspot.com/spotlight) and [Nurture Agent documentation](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/marketing-email/personalize-automated-emails-with-nurture-agent).

What could this look like in practice? A company publishes a guide that helps customers choose the right solution. Marketing Studio can organise the brief and promotional assets. After someone downloads the guide, nurturing can continue with information relevant to that contact’s interests. Depending on the business model, the next step could be a conversation with sales, a product recommendation or a personalised offer.

This is where strategy still matters: defining the audience, choosing a topic that addresses an actual problem and setting qualification criteria remain the responsibility of the team.

**Availability:** Marketing Studio and Campaign Agent are in beta for **Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise**. Nurture Agent is in beta for the same plans and requires **HubSpot Credits**. Access to Content Agent features varies depending on content type and subscription. ## Self-updating CRM and Deal Progression: bringing conversations into the deal faster

One of the most discussed updates is the **self-updating Smart CRM**. HubSpot describes a CRM that can capture and sync activities such as emails, calls and meetings. In sales, **Deal Progression** uses interactions associated with a deal to suggest updates to CRM data, next steps and follow-up messages. The sales representative can review the suggestions before applying them. Certain configured properties can also be updated automatically. [Sources: HubSpot Spotlight](https://www.hubspot.com/spotlight) and [Deal Progression documentation](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/move-deals-forward-with-deal-progression).

Imagine a prospect saying during a call that final approval sits with the CFO and that the timeline has changed. That information affects both the next step and the pipeline estimate. In another type of business, a customer may explain during a conversation what problem they are experiencing with the product and when they expect a response. If that information remains only in a colleague’s memory, the team is working with an incomplete picture. An up-to-date CRM can give the next person involved the context they need.

The feature still requires a well-configured foundation: connected emails and meetings, transcripts where relevant, clearly defined deal stages and properties that reflect the actual sales process. “Self-updating” does not mean that every piece of information from every conversation will automatically and accurately appear in every portal.

**Deal Progression is in beta** for **Sales Hub or Service Hub Professional and Enterprise** and comes with seat and configuration requirements. Some features for capturing custom property information use HubSpot Credits. [Source: HubSpot Knowledge Base](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/records/move-deals-forward-with-deal-progression).

## Prospecting Agent and Mobile Notetaker: more context for sales

**Prospecting Agent** can monitor target accounts for opportunity signals, evaluate them against the ICP and prepare outreach based on the information it finds. HubSpot announced new capabilities around buying signals and contact sourcing. A signal such as a product launch might indicate a good time to research an account, but the team still needs to decide whether there is a relevant problem the company can solve. [Sources: HubSpot Spotlight](https://www.hubspot.com/spotlight) and [buying signals guide](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/prospecting/prospect-companies-with-buying-signals).

For conversations that happen away from the desk, **Mobile Notetaker** allows users to record a meeting in the HubSpot mobile app, associate it with CRM records and access the transcript and recommended next steps. Before using it, teams should establish the appropriate process for informing participants and recording conversations.

The feature is documented for **Sales Hub or Service Hub Professional and Enterprise**, with the appropriate seat. [Source: HubSpot, Mobile Notetaker](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/meetings-tool/use-mobile-notetaker-in-the-hubspot-mobile-app).

## Agent Builder: automation built around your own processes

**Agent Builder** allows companies to configure agents with their own instructions, knowledge sources and actions.

For example, an agent could analyse a new lead and prepare a summary of their interests for sales. Another could identify service requests that need to be escalated to a colleague. The team can test the agent and adjust its rules before publishing it. [Source: HubSpot, Agent Builder](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/ai/create-and-customize-agents-in-the-agent-builder).

Another useful application is analysing lost opportunities or recurring support requests. Customer objections, blockers and questions can help marketing create more useful information. This is also where the connection between CRM and a **FullFunnel Growth™** programme becomes visible: what teams learn from customer interactions feeds back into strategy and content.

Access to Agent Builder depends on plan and permissions. Running agents uses HubSpot Credits, so a pilot should monitor both the quality of the output and credit usage.

## Customer Agent and advertising channels

Fall Spotlight also included updates to **Customer Agent**. It can answer questions across channels such as chat and email using configured knowledge sources, while conversations that require human involvement can be handed over to the team. For companies with complex products or services, the quality of the knowledge base and the escalation rules are essential. [Sources: HubSpot Spotlight](https://www.hubspot.com/spotlight) and [Customer Agent documentation](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/customer-agent/understand-the-customer-agent).

HubSpot also announced the ability to manage **ChatGPT Ads** in connection with CRM data, as well as an integration with **Microsoft Advertising**. The aim is to connect paid campaigns more closely with leads and pipeline outcomes.

The Microsoft Ads integration is documented as **beta**. Before adding any new channel to a media plan, teams should check availability in their account and review the requirements of the advertising platform. ## Are these features already available in HubSpot portals?

**Features announced at UNBOUND are not automatically activated in every portal.**

At the time of writing, Breeze Assistant and AI context management are documented across all plans, provided the relevant settings are enabled. Marketing Studio, Nurture Agent, the new Prospecting Agent capabilities and Deal Progression are either in beta or require specific subscriptions. Other features depend on seats, permissions, connected tools and HubSpot Credits.

A Super Admin can check **Product updates** from the profile menu to see which beta features are available, then review subscriptions, AI settings and user permissions.

HubSpot also notes that simply seeing an update under Product updates does not guarantee access to that feature. [Source: HubSpot, enrolling in beta features](https://knowledge.hubspot.com/account-management/opt-your-hubspot-account-into-a-public-beta-feature).

## What is worth doing in HubSpot now?

Before activating as many new features as possible, choose one process where missing context currently causes delays or poor decisions.

**1. Review your core information.** Are customer segments, buyer profiles, your offer and the criteria for the next action clearly defined? If you use a sales pipeline, do its stages reflect the actual buying journey?

**2. Check exactly what reaches the CRM.** Are forms, emails, meetings and relevant activities associated correctly?

**3. Run a test.** This could be a customer acquisition or reactivation campaign, a support flow or a small group of deals using Deal Progression suggestions.

**4. Measure the quality of the decisions.** Look at whether messages become more relevant, whether the team identifies opportunities faster and whether CRM data supports better decisions across marketing, sales and service.

At Beans United, we build these types of processes through **FullFunnel Growth™**, connecting acquisition, conversion and retention strategy with HubSpot CRM implementation and the work of marketing, sales and service teams.
